Another year of tournaments are over.
This year the team’s performance was outstanding. The team entered 9 tournaments. They battled through the group stage in every tournament except two, one of which they were unbeaten and still went out.
There was One Quarter final, Two Semi-finals and Three Finals and One Win.
Four of the tournaments Highworth went out on were penalty shootouts and one with a very dodgy local ref. This means in open play Highworth Colts were only beaten three times!!!! Excluding the unbeaten and dodgy ref tournaments.
All in all a very successful summer.
This is some of the best passing football I have seen Highworth Colts play.
